Returns & exchanges

RETURNS will NOT be accepted unless the product is flawed, damaged, or the product you have received is incorrect or not identical to your order (wrong product or if a missing product). Products that are “flawed or damaged” must have visual proof from the buyer.  Please note that each candle is bespoke and will have its own slight varients and characteristics.

Please contact us via Email to notify us including as much detail as possible, including your order number and the visual proof.

You can either have a new product sent or return the product for a refund. This will be decided from case to case.

Where applicable we will give you a full refund of the purchase price, NOT including the original shipping charge for the items that you return to us. The refund will be either paid back to the credit card or Paypal Account used to pay for the order within 14 days of receiving the notification. However the refund will not be paid before we have received the items at our warehouse or we have received documentation proving the items have been shipped.

The shipping expenses for returning an order are not covered by us, and must be paid by you, and must also be arranged by yourself.

The items are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse. Please make sure you pack the return safely to prevent any damage to the products or boxes. Make sure the product’s original packaging is intact. Please keep receipts and tracking numbers as proof of sending the items back.

We use Australia Post parcel service.

Shipping locations:
THE GROUNDED REBEL ships from its primary location in NEWCASTLE usually within 3-5 business days from order being placed. busy times may extend this processing time.
The shipping location doesn't affect the final postage price, but may extend the arrival time.

Although extreme care and packaging takes place within The Grounded Rebel premises, once The Grounded Rebel products leave our possession we are no longer liable for damage caused by handling during the delivery process. In the event that your shipment is lost or damaged in transit, you will be responsible to file the claim with Australia Post. We are not responsible for weather related damage or delays. 

Shipping prices:
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. 

FORTUNE FAVORS THOSE THAT RESPECT THEIR REBEL CANDLES: 
• Never leave a candle unattended or in reach of children or pets
• Always burn the candle until the wax has melted all the way to the rim 
• Never burn a candle for more than four hours 
• Only trim the wick if the candle begins to smoke and mushroom  
• Burn the candle until approximately 2cm from the base 
• Remove crystal carefully when the wax has started melting. It's yours forever.

REBELS REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE:
When you're finished with the candle, the remaining wax will act as a melt. Pour the last 2cm of melted wax into an oil burner.  Our candles are scented, so you're welcome for that hot tip! The stunning vessel can now be cleaned up in warm soapy water and upcycled.

Each Rebel is bespoke & poured individually by hand and may have slight variences in wax colour and texture.
