I'm Becky, a proud Darug Gamilaroi woman, a mother, a Reiki Master, sound healer and founder of The Grounded Rebel. Let me tell you what I’m about. I'm going to keep it short & sweet, ‘cause nobody got time for that. Put simply I’m a rebel who struggles playing by the rules.
I'm a healer intuitive of the universal energy of Reiki with over 27 years of Reiki healing courses running through my veins, I also am passionate about the healing powers of frequencies and I am a certified sound healer. I am driven by my crystal passion and Reiki training. I’m obsessed with energies that crystals and sound healing bring to the world which was part of the reason I shifted careers. Along with the shitshow that was 2020. After 10 years flying high as a flight attendant, I was forced to reconsider my career and who I identify as a person. One thing both my careers have in common is being ‘Grounded’. In the airline industry it means no longer flying. In the holistic healing industry, it means an enlightened state to strive for. The Grounded Rebel is a play on words to describe finding the positivity in the situation I have found myself in. The year 2020 gave me the time to stop and smell the vegan infused soy wax candles and see what really fulfils me in life. For me it’s offering an alternative approach to the healing of emotional, spiritual, physical concerns. Most people are tired of taking pills to fix anxiety or pain. I offer natural therapies in a fresh, rebellious way helping to bring us back to our natural state of peace and wellbeing.

My Story
After months of soul searching and trying to remember who I am without a suitcase in my hand I searched deep, real deep, and realised I had been a healer all along. Friends, family, anyone open to my knowledge of crystals and practice of Reiki, I was doing it. People wanted me to calm down their chakras left right and centre. Those who know me see my rebellious take on the world (I never conform with no apologies).

The Grounded Rebel offers Reiki, Smoke cleansing rituals on your spaces at The Grounded Space, Reiki infused Rebel Amulets, Rebel candles and giftware with ethically selected quality crystals, always! All can be found on my online shop. The Rebel candles are my signature products. Each is hand poured with natural vegan soy wax which is then infused with crystals and Reiki. Topped off with an unfiltered message. They do come with a warning though: The Grounded Rebel occasionally contains strong language (which may be unsuitable for children) and unusual humour (which may be unsuitable for adults without a sense of humour).

But that’s enough about me. Let’s talk about my Rebel candles. I know that’s what you really want to know about. And why wouldn't you? They are wild, crazy and rebellious. My signature candles are vegan and natural soy wax infused with ancient uses for crystal energies. Each candle is charged with Reiki energy and has an intention. And my treatments are pretty lit, too. I offer treatments to people that want to increase how much flow is in their life, who want to learn new healing techniques and who want to eliminate depressive tendencies they've been spending their life trying to manage. I offer one-on-one healing sessions, combination healing sessions (with added benefit of calming your chakras the fuck down with crystals and sound healing), and long-distance Reiki. My Approach
I have gravitated toward crystals, sound healing and Reiki for my own healing since I was a teenager. I was always looking at other methods to heal my body, mind & spirit trying to avoid medications when possible. Reiki is the transference of universal life force through the practitioner to the recipient. The practitioner acts as a channel using traditional hand positions to direct the flow of energy to specific areas of the body. Transmitted through gentle touch, Reiki has the ability to comb out the kinks of the energetic body: balancing, soothing, and calming. You get the benefits where they are needed in your body; physically, in your mind; emotionally, and in your soul; spiritually. Over the two decades plus that I've been practicing Reiki, I have learned how to harness my intuitive reactions to the individual with the ability to concentrate on areas Reiki is most needed all whilst incorporating the energies of crystals and sound healing to clear blockages and cleanse chakras.
